Mouton Concrete Services pours and repairs concrete across League City driveways, approaches, patios, walkways, garage and addition slabs, RV and boat pads, plus demolition, removal and masonry repair. One crew does the whole job: layout, tear-out, base, forms, steel, pour, finish, joints, haul-off. The people who price your job are the people who pour it.
League City sits on the same expansive clay as the rest of Clear Creek, and a lot of the city was built in waves 1970s and 80s slabs in the older neighbourhoods off Main and FM 518, and newer subdivisions where the fill was placed fast and is still settling. Those two situations fail in completely different ways, and they need different fixes. That is what we sort out on the estimate.
A driveway is only as good as the ground under it. We build from the subgrade up: excavate to depth, remove soft or organic spots instead of burying them, compact, and build a base that lets water move rather than sit under the slab.
Then forms go in true to the garage and the street, steel is set and chaired off the ground (not pulled up after the pour), concrete is placed and finished, and control joints are cut on spacing that matches the slab thickness so the inevitable shrinkage happens in a straight cut line instead of across the middle of your parking area.

Not every job is a full replacement. A lot of League City driveways are simply too narrow for how the household actually parks two cars, a truck, a trailer, or a turnaround so you are not backing onto FM 518 traffic.
We add parking pads, widen one or both sides, extend to the side gate, and pour turnarounds and ribbon strips. New concrete placed against old is doweled and jointed at the seam so the two slabs move independently instead of tearing each other apart, and we match the finish so the addition does not read as a patch.
Where an HOA needs a plan or an approval before work starts, we will tell you at the estimate and give you the dimensions and finish detail you need to submit.
Replace when the slab itself has failed, not just the surface. We take the old concrete out, fix the reason it failed collapsed base, water running under it, roots, or a slab poured too thin for what parks on it and pour new. Pouring new concrete over an unsolved cause is how a homeowner pays for the same driveway twice. Your estimate states exactly which days the drive is out of service, when it can take foot traffic, and when it can take vehicles.
Repairs we actually perform, rather than a list to pad a page:
If a repair is only buying you a year, we say so and quote the replacement instead.
Stand on the slab with us and this is the checklist we run:
Repair is the right money when
Replacement is the honest answer when
The water question comes first. In League City the majority of failed driveways we are called to are drainage failures wearing a concrete costume yard falling toward the slab, downspouts discharging at the edge, a swale that was regraded away during a landscaping job. We check fall and discharge points on every estimate and tell you what has to change for the new pour to last.
Covered patios, open patios, pool surrounds, walkways, fire-pit and grill pads, outdoor kitchen slabs and shed pads.
The two things we do not skip: fall away from the house so rain never stands at the foundation, and a finish chosen for how the surface is used broom where feet are wet, smooth under a covered roof, exposed aggregate or stamped where the look matters. Slabs that meet the house are isolated so the patio cannot transfer movement into your foundation.
Slab-on-grade for room additions, garages, detached shops, carports, storage buildings, generator and equipment pads, and RV or boat pads sized for the actual rig rather than a guess. Load-bearing work is where base prep and steel earn their keep. We handle layout and elevations, forming, vapour barrier where it is called for, reinforcement, pour, finish and cure, and we work to your builder’s framing schedule when one is in play.
Break-out and haul-off of driveways, patios, walks, slabs, steps, curbs and old foundations either as stage one of a new pour, or as a standalone job when you are clearing ground for a pool, an addition, a shop or landscaping. We protect what stays, saw-cut clean lines at the boundary instead of tearing into good concrete, load out as we go, and leave the ground raked and the street swept. No rubble pile left behind.
League City, TX including the older neighbourhoods off Main Street and FM 518, and the newer subdivisions toward Clear Creek, Bay Area Boulevard and the SH 96 corridor plus Friendswood, Dickinson, Kemah, Bacliff, Webster, Nassau Bay, Clear Lake, Texas City, Santa Fe and Alvin.

Mike did a fabulous job. I had cracks in the bricks on both corners in the front of my house and he fixed them perfectly. You cannot tell anything was done. Colors match up and look great. He's even coming back by to check everything. I will definitely call again. He showed up when he said he would be here and charged a fair price.Posted on Google![]()

Mike and his crew poured a driveway for us on Todville road in Seabrook. Mike is very friendly and easy to work with. The driveway was completed exactly as discussed and faster than originally thought. Mike went out of his way to get permit inspections done by both the city and county. Him and his crew do excellent work. The drive way was actually the second time we have used him. Mike did some concrete steps leading up to our house previously. Just like the driveway, completed to a 5 star standard. I highly recommend Mouton Concret ServicesPosted on Google![]()

We called Mike to for a masonry inspection while trying to a purchase home. We were provided same-day, friendly service. Mike was upfront about the issue and didn't push for making repairs that weren't necessary. While we hope we don't need to use the company for repairs, they will be the first ones we contact!Posted on Google![]()

I’m a repeat customer. They did my driveway several years ago & it’s still looking as good as the day they poured it. They did an excellent job with doing our RV driveway & went above & beyond helping us deal with getting our permits. Anyone needing concrete, construction, demolition work..I highly recommend them.Posted on Google![]()

No. We come to the property, inspect the slab and the drainage, measure, and leave you with a written estimate at no cost and no obligation.
Usually yes. We dowel and joint the new section into the existing slab so the two move independently, and match the finish. If the existing slab is already failing, we will tell you before you spend money widening it.
Yes. We will give you the dimensions, thickness and finish details in writing so you can submit them, and we schedule around the approval.
Some work needs one and some does not. We tell you which yours is at the estimate and handle it where it is required.
Your estimate gives the exact dates for foot traffic and for vehicles for your specific pour. You will know the timeline before we break ground, not after.
Often, yes we saw-cut the failed panel and repour it. We will also tell you plainly if the rest of the slab is close behind it, so you are not paying twice inside two years.
Yes. Demolition, loading and disposal are part of the job. Nothing is left on your property.
Both. Steps, stoops, columns and low walls can be handled on the same visit as the concrete work.
Concrete that is cracking, dropping or holding water only gets more expensive the longer it sits.
